Elon Musk Introduces Clearer and Restrictive Twitter Platform, Twitdeck, while Transitioning from Tritter
Twitdeck to become a paid service for non-Blue Tick users; New features on the horizon.
In a recent announcement, Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, has revealed significant changes to the popular social media platform. Musk is set to replace the existing ‘Tritter’ with a revamped version, aiming for enhanced clarity and usability. Additionally, temporary restrictions are being implemented on ‘Now’ tweets, allowing users to post only once per tweet, a feature known as ‘trideck.’
The new ‘trideck’ service is specifically tailored for news organizations and large entities seeking real-time engagement on Twitter. Users who frequently interact with celebrities’ social media accounts can also benefit from this service.
However, the transition from the current ‘Twitdeck’ to the new version brings an important shift in access. Formerly a free service, ‘Twitdeck’ will now be exclusively available to Blue Tick users, as stated by Elon Musk. Non-Blue Tick users will lose access to ‘Twitdeck’ in the next 30 days.
Presently, TweetDeck offers a comprehensive platform where users can conveniently manage various aspects of their Twitter experience. The platform allows users to gather relevant information in one place, with each topic occupying a separate column. Additionally, users can easily handle individual accounts within dedicated columns, view notifications, replies, and more, all on a single screen. Users have the freedom to create multiple columns and leverage various Twitter services simultaneously. However, it appears that this service will transition to a paid model.
Amidst these changes, Musk has also hinted at upcoming new features to be launched alongside the transition. Exciting developments are anticipated as Twitter evolves to meet the ever-changing demands of its user base.
