Essay: The Monsoon Season – A Delightful Time of the Year
The monsoon season, also known as the Rainy Monsoon, is a beloved time of the year that brings about significant changes in nature and provides ample enjoyment for all. Today, my friends, I have written a Marathi essay on the monsoon season that I am sure you will appreciate. So, let us commence with the essay.
Prior to the arrival of the rains, the land is thoroughly heated by the scorching summer. People are tormented by the sweltering heat and perspiration, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the clouds. Everyone harbors a common desire that the rains will grace us, sprinkling droplets of refreshing water across the landscape.
And then, it begins to drizzle. My friends and I joyfully immerse ourselves in this rain, singing the popular Marathi song, “Ye re ye ye pawasa tula deto paisa, paisa jhala khota Paus alla mota.” I relish the aroma of the earth when it is kissed by the first raindrops.
The monsoon showers transform the vegetation, painting the trees with lush green hues and bringing a delightful dewy freshness to the otherwise hot climate. Sometimes, the rain arrives in a gentle drizzle, while at other times, it pours down in torrents. As a result, the once-dry rivers and streams come back to life, resuming their flow. Farmers rejoice as they can begin their agricultural work, knowing that the rains will nurture their crops. Over the course of a few months, the fields become abundant with bountiful harvests.
