As it is almost impossible to trace these websites or the transactions on them, criminals seem to be using them extensively. Drug trafficking is a big factor in it. In the last four months in Mumbai, drug trafficking has been caught by various investigative agencies. In at least ten cases, it has been seen that the drug transactions took place through the dark web.
