The state government has granted approval for the filling up of Talathi Group ‘C’ cadre vacancies through the direct service method. The Land Records Department will conduct the examination shortly, following the government’s relaxation of recruitment rules. A link will be provided for the application process.

Clearance has been given for the recruitment of 4,644 posts in 36 districts across six divisions of the state. The examination for the recruitment of 4,644 Talathis in all districts, including Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Konkan, and Amravati, will be conducted soon. The Land Records Department plans to open the application link in the coming days.

In certain districts with a significant tribal population, seats will be reserved under the ‘Pesa’ rule to provide opportunities for tribal community members in Talathi recruitment. The Land Records Department has selected TCS Company to conduct the examination and has presented two date options, 17th August or 12th September, to the government for consideration.

As it is not feasible to prepare separate question papers for each district, the exam pattern for the Talathi post has been finalized. The registration link for the exam application will be open from June 26 to 17^th July , allowing a 21-day window for candidates to fill out their applications. Each candidate can apply only from their respective district, with the exception of tribal areas where posts have been determined based on population.

Anand Rait, the Additional Commissioner of the Jamabandi Department, confirmed that permission has been sought to open the exam link. The link is expected to be available by June 15. It is anticipated that around five lakh candidates will apply for the exam, with each candidate applying from their respective district. The exam fee is set at Rs 1000 for the general group and Rs 900 for the reservation group.
